Abstract

The challenge faced by feed millers is how to maximize the implementation of quality control to support the productivity and sustainability of the feed industry. The method used in writing this article is a study of a collection of research journals on the implementation of quality control, especially in the distribution of raw materials to support the productivity and sustainability of the feed industry. Quality control (QC) is a system designed to ensure that the products sold are in accordance with the specified quality standards. QC involves several stages including testing, monitoring, and measuring product quality. The purpose of implementing QC in feed mills is to identify errors or inconsistencies in the animal feed production process. It can be concluded that the implementation of quality control, especially in the distribution of raw materials to support the productivity and sustainability of the feed industry, begins with monitoring the quality of raw materials when receiving materials; planning and monitoring storage; and monitoring the processing of raw materials into feed.
