Performance Study Of Broiler in Closed House Housing System at PT. Selaras Berkah Bagia, Pasuruan Regency East Java

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of broilers raised in a closed house cage of PT Selaras Berkah Bagia, Pasuruan Regency, East Java. The observation method was the recording of feeding, body weight gain, and the number of dead animals. This study used 90,000 chickens and 1 closed house cage for 2 periods. The results showed the performance in period 1, the cumulative feed consumption was 3,508 grams/head, body weight gain was 2,363 grams/head, FCR was 1.38, and mortality was 2.14%. While the performance of period 2, the cumulative feed consumption was 3,407 grams/head, body weight gain was 2,193 grams/head, FCR was 1.46, and mortality was 2.46%. The conclusion of this study is that the maintenance of broilers using closed house cages has good performance.
